Formed by polistrumentists, Okan Murat Öztürk, Murat Salim Tokaç and Cenk Güray, the Dem Trio proposes a deep look on the fundamental aspects of the Turkish music. The structure of every piece undergoes to particular rules of composition, named “makan”, and furnish the base to produce themes and melodies. The part of the real invention is submitted to the improvisations (taksim). Thanks to the discoveries of the Dem Trio we can enter in relationship with the ancient Ottoman culture…
