“This is a romantic album, with old songs that I found back in my memory….it belongs to me, a piece of my memory that didn’t come out before…” This is what Max Berrù is saying about his last CD. Max is one of the founders of the famous group the Inti Illimani (1967) with whom he has been performing for 30 years. Acanto is a new musical experience coming from faraway…six people with the same intense passion for the ethnic, Andine music. Max Berrù’s touch leads the Acanto to “Concierto Intimo”.. a show half Max’s musical evolution, half Inti Illimani’s revival.
