After the “dazzling” meeting of last year that (with the help of the good Tuscan cuisine, a couple of glasses of red wine…), thanks to Tagete Edizioni it has become true a book dedicated to his life (“A Life in Swing”). Our friend Gianni will gig with his trio. During the performance, his book will be on sale.
Gianni Cazzola is a real myth of jazz drumming, and in fact he has been considered, for over 40 years, one of the most talented Italian drummers. In his long and brilliant career he has played with many of the most famous Italian and international jazz muscians: Lee Konitz, Gerry Mulligan, Bob Berg, Tommy Flanagan, Phil Woods, Ray Brown, Steve Grossman, Steve Lacy, Billie Hiolliday, Paolo Fresu, Massimo Urbani, Sarah Vaughan, Eddie Gomez, Chet Baker…
