Began her studies in voice and jazz improvisation with Tiziana Ghiglioni and later with Alessandro Di Puccio, Roberta Davis, Fabrizia Baressi, Mark Murphy and Michele Hendricks in Paris. She performs in many jazz clubs and has partecipated in numerous festivals in Italy and Europe along side musicians such as Paolo Birro, Luca Flores, Fulvio Sisti, Roberto Ottaviano, Kenny Wheeler, Stefano Onorati, Nicola Stilo, Walter Paoli, Mauro Grossi, Ikue Mori, Nico Gori, Mirko Guerrini, Sandro Gibellini, Riccardo Onori, Filippo Pedol, Gabriele Mastroianni, Jacopo Martini, Franco Santarnecchi, Andrea Melani and her brother Franco Nesti.
From 1988 to 1994 she took part in the New Project Jazz Orchestra in Trento directed by Renzo Vigagni where she performed with Renato Geremia, Andrea Braido, Bruno De Filippi, Rudy Migliardi and Lee Konitz. Since 1990 she has collaborated as a soloist with the chorus Jubilee Shouters directed by Gianna Grazzini, which in novembre 2004 received the prestigious “Giorgio La Pira” International Award for Culture from Mario Luzi. Also with the Jubilee Shouters, in 2005, as a soloist, she opened the “Festa della Toscana” concert held at the Mandela Forum in Florence with the participation of Piero Pelù, Jovanotti, Irene Grandi, Negrita, Bandabardò, Riccardo Tesi, Petra Magoni and Ginevra Di Marco.
Since 2004 she has collaborated with the group “Just Alpin” with the bassist Norbert Dalsass . In 2006 they recorded the CD“Walkin’ on Fire” for Brambus Records.
In 2006 she recorded several selections on the CD “Tabù” poems by Alberto Sighele set to music by Renzo Vigagni.
Since 1991 she has been teaching voice, jazz vocal improvisation as well as leading seminars in numerous schools and in 2005 she passed the examination for Aigam teachers (Associazione Italiana Gordon per l’Apprendimento Musicale).
In 2007 October she performs in Fuentes cd “Irikelè”. In October 2007 Titta Nesti recorded her first official cd for the Philology Label (W.295) called “Floatin” with Franco Santarnecchi (piano and keyboards) and featuring Stefano Tamborrino (drums and percussions) and Franco Nesti (double bass). In December 2007 Titta Nesti and Franco Santarnecchi are invited to perform in the Asmara Theatre in Eritrea for the Italian Embassy.
