The instrumental trio Alvaro Quiroga, originally from Colombia, particularly from the Andean region, has the goal of recovering and promoting traditional music and folklore repertoire of this area through original interpretations.

The musical instruments used are the typical ones of the region, such as guitar, tiple, requinto. Their songs are characterized by traditional rhythms such as bamboo, pasillo, torbellino, rumba and guabina. They have received numerous national and international awards and are involved in the musical training of thousands of children and young people in their country.
