Their atmosphere is very retro, swing music from the first years of the last century with Gypsy and French influences, Greek sirtaky, waltzes and boleros. Besides, their lyrics are ironic and irreverent.

Saodaj’ is a band coming from the Island of Reunion: they are a symbol of a new generation of young artists reinterpreting the Maloya, a musical genre of the Indian Ocean islands. An unbelievable acoustic sound and an artistic maturity: they remain true to their origins but they are open to the influences of the world music. Soodaj’s rhythms and melodies make people dance as in a state of hypnotic trance.
